Charge Status Indicator Control

Diagnostic & Technical Explanation
Code P0D2C sets when the driver circuit for the charge status indicator lamp — the light reporting overall charge-session progress rather than the pilot handshake state specifically — reads an open, a short to ground, or a short to voltage instead of the commanded state. The most common physical causes are a burned-out bulb or failed LED, a corroded or unseated connector at the indicator, and chafed wiring between the control module and the lamp. Because this indicator reflects session-level status, a fault here can leave the driver without progress feedback even while the charge session itself continues normally in the background.

These 6 diagnostic trouble codes share one detection mechanism and one repair path, which is why MechanicDB groups them into a single authored fault family rather than repeating the same explanation 6 times.
